Behind the Curtain Theatre Company (BTC) says goodbye to NSW and hello to Melbourne in a move that will see the theatre production company exposed to larger audiences.
After nearly 4 years of producing work in regional NSW, BTC Artistic director Rohan Maloy says 'it is time to move on'. Mr Maloy Continues ‘Our time in Wagga Wagga has been such a blessing for us, we have loved creating theatre here and the community has been so supportive, but Melbourne is now where our future lies".
The Company is already in talks with some major independent Melbourne theatre venues and should be back in production for 2012. Not that BTC are turning their back on Wagga Wagga completely. Mr Maloy continues "We plan to still produce work in Wagga Wagga and tour it to Victoria and Vice Versa".
Behind the Curtain are currently seeking venues across Melbourne and seeking creative professionals to work with. They are also accepting new script submissions from budding writers who would like to have their scripts considered for production.
